Let’s keep our city on solid financial footing to maintain public safety, improve our public spaces, and promote a healthy community.
Create living wage jobs by building on our existing assets. Protect and improve our commercial and sport fishing industries, manufacture timber products locally, encourage development of a sustainable renewable energy industry, and increase opportunities for ecotourism.
Build affordable housing to provide our current and future residents a place to live and thrive.
Continue to improve and expand our trail network along the bay and within the city’s greenways and gulches to provide safe, alternative travel for our kids to and from school, for our Old Town workforce, provide places to safely exercise and recreate, and reduce vehicular traffic.
Improve and rebuild our crumbling roads so vehicles and bicycles alike can travel safely throughout the city.
Work with community members to build a tolerant society that accepts people of all races, religions, and sexual orientations.
Restore our greenways and gulches and coastal marshes to beautify our city, create jobs, and enhance fish and wildlife habitat.
